A TRIP TO THE PAST (6TYH PRIMARY)
In UNIT 2 we are talking about an archeological dig and we are totally back in time. Students are learning how people bring history to life, acting out battles or using metal detectors to find ancient objects.
Here I show you one exemple of my last trip to the past. Read it and invent one place you went to and things you found in your trip back in time.
Write your comments below.
Last year I went to Bath. This old roman town is near the southwest coast of England. My trip was amazing. I discovered old buildings in the city centre but the most interesting one was the roman bath. For this reason the city is called BATH.
I found lots of sculptures, bowls, old letters and collections of silver, porcelain, paintings, furniture and glass of all periods since the romans.
It was fantastic going totally back in time. I enjoyed the history of Romans in a very beautiful place.
